March Madness - OCC shifts into high gear

Time changes when we return from Spring Break. It speeds up so much we wonder if we will be able to keep up.

It is a truly exciting time here at OCC with different events happening each week. This week we sang Irish music and will watch Irish step dancers perform at our school.

Next week we will have individual school photos taken and welcome visitors from Shaver's Creek into our school as well new families touring our school.

And then just like that, it's OCC annual Silent Auction at the Atherton Hotel on Friday, April 3. Yes, the auction is before Passover and Easter!

Please reserve your sitter now since this is an adults only event. Consider asking friends if they would like to attend a night filled with food, fun, music and lots of bidding on tempting items.

Please decide if you'd like to donate something to the auction. We value parent donations so much. Many of the other families during the auction, love to see what other parents have made or donated.

Some of the most sought-after past donations include a vase filled with 1000 paper cranes, a hand-painted child size chair, handmade handbags, scarfs, jewelry, a copier and even a used car!

This is a truly memorable event that benefits the school tremendously. We realize in today's economy that we all must scale back, but let's keep our children in focus.

This quality Montessori program requires dedicated and caring teachers, quality education materials, and a well-maintain space for children to grow and learn. Please help us continue to offer the best possible care for your children and our community.
