Welcome Back!
Submitted by Kristin on Wed, 08/27/2008 - 1:16pm.
We are so excited to start a new year! Here are just a few reminders:
- First Day of School: The first day of school is Tuesday, Sept. 2nd. Half and school day students begin at 9:00 AM.
- Curbside Drop-off: The drop-off location for children who are willing to say goodbye in the car has changed. It will now be located in the alley off Nittany Avenue. Curbside drop-off begins at 8:45 AM and ends at 9:05 AM. New children should be brought into the building by a parent. Click here to view a PDF map for parking and drop-off.
- Courtyard Entrance and Early AM Care: The double doors at the end of the courtyard should be used between the hours of 7:45 AM and 5:30 PM. Early AM Care students should use the courtyard doors and be taken to the All Purpose Room.
- Parking: Please read all parking signs carefully and avoid parking in no parking zones and within 20 feet of an intersection, stop sign, or alleyway.
- Lunch: Lunch boxes should be insulated and include an ice pack, a small cloth placemat, a drink, and healthy foods. Microwaves are available for heating. Please note we are a PEANUT and TREE-NUT FREE school. Please click here for snack suggestions.
- Napping: If your child will be napping or resting, please provide a blanket, sheet, and pillow. These items should be labeled and put in a cloth bag or pillow case. Your child may bring in a special stuffed toy or blanket from home to cuddle with during nap time. All nap items go home on Friday for laundering.
- Extra Clothing: Each child is required to have a clearly labeled, seasonally appropriate change of clothes including undergarments and socks.
- Emergency Contact Information: We must have an updated emergency contact information and emergency care permission/release form on file. Please complete these forms the first week of school.
